In light of the recent restructuring of the library on the Mesa campus, the main campus library in Lisle will be offering resources and services to support your coursework.  This is what you can expect:

  • The library collection contains over 370,000 items in electronic format as well as tens of thousands of full text articles.  If you need help accessing these materials, please contact us via Chat with a Librarian or libref@ben.edu.
  • Reference and research assistance will virtual.  Contact the librarians through Chat with a Librarian, libref@ben.edu, or individual email addresses.
  • Instruction will be virtual.  Contact Joan Hopkins or Swati Wagh for any library instructional needs.
  • Physical reserve materials will not be available.  Please contact Silvia Larrondo to discuss options for putting items into D2L.
  • Interlibrary loan books will be shipped directly to you.  Please send them back directly to the Lisle campus.
  • The physical space will be available for computer use and studying.  Please do not remove any of the materials from the library.  You may use the books within the library, but please put them back on the shelf.
  • The Mesa Public Library will be providing library cards for the Mesa campus community. Watch for announcements about a library card signup event this spring.  They will also be providing more information about the resources available to the Mesa campus community including group study rooms.

The main campus library staff is ready to assist you with your research needs.  Please do not hesitate to contact us for help.
