The Library of Congress Subject Headings are extremely useful in locating books and articles. Although these are subject headings using them as KEYWORDS is an excellent research method.

The Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) is perhaps the most widely adopted subject indexing language in the world, has been translated into many languages, and is used around the world by libraries large and small. LCSH has been actively maintained since 1898 to catalog materials held at the Library of Congress.
