What Is Fake News?

Introduction

This guide is intended to provide a brief introduction to the issue of the proliferation of fake news.  It will also provide some tools and techniques that can be used to identify fake news and to develop new literacy skills.

The ability to tell accurate news from fake news is an important skill that you'll use your entire life. This guide will give you valuable insight in telling fact from fiction online, plus a chance to exercise your newfound skills.
