Cesraea Rumpf, Ph.D. Associate Professor (Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology)  College of Liberal Arts.

Reflection Question

Sarah Conway reports on the risks of separation and isolation for women in prison, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the efforts of the COVID-19 Photo Project, children can send photographs to parents inside prison and build a stronger bond, despite that separation. On the outside, we share photographs daily over social media, text messaging, and email.

What drives us to record and share so much evidence of our lives with the people we care about?
