Recommended by an anonymous student who wrote, "Despite taking forever to finish, Brothers K simply is an incredible book that I would recommend to anyone, who is slightly interested in philosophy with a closer connection to everyday life. It explores so many of the fundamental questions in life without actually telling you what stance you should take as the reader. Each character is so realistic and believable that I found a little bit of myself in each one, which is Dostoevsky's intention. My only warning is that the russian names will probably confuse you at times and that this book is not a quick-read. It takes a lot of time to actually complete this book, but, if you have the time, go for it!"
