Measuring Research Impact and Quality and Predatory Publishing: Introduction

This research guide will direct you to measure the quality of a journal using different metrics: Impact factor, rankings, h index. Always remember that most metrics are specific to a particular field. For example if you look in SJR (Scientific Ranking of Journals) you will be asked to select the subject area under consideration.
