Information Literacy: Assessment: The Framework & the Standards

The Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education and the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education are very different documents. Mapping the Standards (including individual indicators and outcomes) to the Framework, is one way to see how the two documents relate to each other and to determine what is new in the Framework.  It is also more comfortable to move from a more familiar document to a less familiar one.  

You will see from the documents below that just about everything in the Standards still has a place in the Framework.  In most cases it will be easy to align those outcomes with the Framework, although we may be inspired to make revisions along the way.
