Ready to start researching? A reminder that most market research or industry reports beyond the federal government level are only available within an institution's subscription or individual subscription. There are a few recommended databases where you can source market research reports in a given industry through the Benedictine University Library.
Once you're logged into Proquest One Business with your BenU credentials, click on "Industry Reports".
Within the database Nexis Uni (also known as Lexis Nexis), there is a Market Insight tab that allows researchers to access market research and industry reports. Tab over to this page to get started on your research.
Within Nexis Uni, you can also browse industry analyst reports. For instance, the A-Z listing of industry analyst reports can search within the BMI Real Estate Report to locate the United States Real Estate Report from Q12023, released in May 2024.
You can also search within Business Source Premier to locate market research reports and trade journals. Carrying along our real estate example, I will search "real estate" in the largest search bar, and check the following boxes to filter:
1. articles on several industries
2. full text
3. For publication date, I only want to browse reports from the last 12 months. Here's my result:
