John F. Haught, Ph.D., is a Senior Fellow in Science and Religion at Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University. He lectures internationally on many issues related to science and religion. He earned a doctorate in Theology from the Catholic University of America in 1970 and is a former chair and a professor in the Department of Theology at Georgetown University (1970-2005). His area of specialization is systematic theology, with a particular interest in issues pertaining to science, cosmology, evolution, ecology and religion.
